Autumn recipe: spicy pasta with lentil sauce

Spicy pasta with lentil sauce
Spicy pasta with lentil sauce is a healthy and tasty dish to add to your meal plan. Here's how to make it!
Ingredients:
- 80g of legume pasta
- 140g of pre-cooked lentils (or canned)
- 90g of onion
- 275g of tomato passata or crushed tomatoes
- 5g of extra virgin olive oil
- chilli pepper to taste
- Salt to taste
Method:
- Cook the pasta in plenty of salted water following the instructions on the package;
- Peel and chop the onion;
- In a pan, heat a teaspoon of extra virgin olive oil (5g);
- Sauté the onion for about 2 minutes;
- Add the tomato passata and a pinch of salt and chilli pepper, let it simmer;
- Meanwhile, drain and rinse the lentils;
- Add the lentils to the sauce;
- Cook over low heat until the pasta is ready, adding a few tablespoons of pasta cooking water if necessary;
- Drain the pasta al dente;
- Add it to the sauce;
- Toss everything together for 1 minute;
- Enjoy immediately!
