The 4 secrets to strong and healthy hair


Good morning everyone!


I'm Carlotta Gagna, founder of Traininpink and today I'm talking to you about hair.


Recently I have been receiving several messages like this:

…and I can confirm it! My hair has improved enormously over the last year!


Before, I was losing a lot of it and it was fine, weak and dry, truly a disaster.


I am happy to share with you everything that has genuinely improved the health of my hair!


My 4 secrets for strong, healthy and full hair!

Let's look at them together!


1. Vitamin B, zinc and iron


The health of our hair depends on a correct daily intake of:


  • riboflavin (vitamin B2);


  • biotin (vitamin B8);


  • zinc;


  • iron.


A deficiency of one or more of these vitamins and minerals can have a (very) negative impact on the health of our hair.


If I were to give the Oscar for hair I would definitely give it to zinc: whenever I happened to take less of it I immediately noticed the effects on my hair (I lose more of it) and also on my nails (weaker, they break more easily).


In addition to specific supplements, we find these substances in good quantities mainly in:


  • riboflavin: milk and dairy products, liver, salmon, almonds and spinach;


  • biotin: legumes, mushrooms, seeds and again salmon and almonds;


  • zinc: oysters and shellfish*, red meat;


  • iron: dried fruit and seeds, legumes, spinach, red meat *as you can imagine, it is easier (and more sustainable 💸) to take zinc from specific supplements.



2. Meditation

I can confirm what you probably already knew (and have already experienced firsthand): stress unfortunately has a very negative impact on hair.


One thing that has helped me enormously to manage stress and feel more at peace has certainly been meditation, which is why for some months now you can find a dedicated Meditation section in the Traininpink app.

Since I managed to combine proper nutrition with meditation (just 5 minutes a day!) my hair changed drastically in a very short space of time, a transformation that left even me very surprised!


3. Walks in the open air

Another thing that helps me a lot to relax is walking in the open air - personally the treadmill does not have the same effect on me.

ince I integrated walks into my lifestyle I have managed to significantly reduce stress and therefore obtain a very important beneficial effect on my hair.


4. Using (as much as possible) natural products

Industrial hair products very often contain substances - such as sodium laureth phosphate - that can damage the scalp or make hair more fragile...


...especially if you already suffer from a sensitive scalp and/or weak, dry or damaged hair.


Inform yourselves about the ingredients of the products you use and verify that they do not contain agents that could worsen the situation - try to use products without potentially harmful chemical agents!
